Many of the homes are built on a series of man-made canals that give direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway and ultimately you can navigate to the Atlantic Ocean. This makes the Isle of Palms ideal for avid boaters and fishermen. There’s nothing better than having your boat stored on a lift right in your backyard. With year-round good weather and fishing in all seasons, they can certainly make the most of it.
Isle of Palms is part of Jacksonville Beach so enjoys the same quality schools in the applicable school district, Seabreeze Elementary, Fletcher Middle, and Fletcher High school.
There are multiple restaurants nearby. There’s fine dining at Marker 32, or enjoy fresh organic food and awesome smoothies at Hakka Kitchen, there’s pizza, Mexican, or try Asian street food at Karai Raman Bistro. Located just off San Pablo Rd, it is close to grocery stores too.
The Isle of Palms Park sits in the middle of the neighborhood and has large areas for dogs to run and it also has tennis courts for those social matches. Once a week in the evening food trucks come to the park and serve freshly prepared meals and this also creates a great time for neighbors to socialize.
